A long range subspace transmission from a PGR outpost reaches the UPRQ. "The Pan-Galactic Republic formally invites the UPRQ to visit Prime Galactus in order to strengthen relations between our two peoples."

The transmission is received and an Exploration Observation ship is sent toward the signal origin.
A bright white spec appears in the middle of space on the edge of the galaxy found in the projected path of the recent warp-lane. The white light grows to about two kilometers in size, until it flattens. A hole begins in the centre of the circle until the new circle becomes a large ring. A purple static races across the ring until after a bright white flash, a fleet of white ships emerge from the Warp, still glowing slightly from the heat of the reentry into the proper universe. A crew member whispers to another,
"Is it just me or do you have a bad feeling about this galaxy...?"

Within moments of the UPRQ ship arriving in Prime, there are four PGR Guardian-class patrol destroyers flanking it.
"The Pan-Galactic Republic welcomes you to Prime Galactus."

Although they aren't expecting any trouble the ship raises the shield percentage slightly to be safe. They respond.
"Kyasacha PGR. The UPR Qaenrough doesn't pass up an opportunity to explore. Yet."

"We are here to escort you through Republic space, we will transmit the route to you now."
A small data packet is transmitted to the UPRQ's ship, detailing a route through PGR space, passing by many of the Republic's core planets and landmark stations.

The ship makes velocity adjustments as so.
"Perhaps we could get you an information packet on Dux Galactus next time? If only all aliens were this generous."

The four PGR vessels form up around the UPRQ's vessel in a diamond formation.

The exploration vessel accelerates in speed slightly and lowers the shields back down to the minimal percentage. The non essential crew members go into stasis and the 12th shift takes over.
The vessel begins to scan your escort ships.

"It is required to inform you that at the current time, we are near the border of a hostile empire, thus we will be at battle ready status."
The patrol ships send out an active sensor pulse every few minutes, their shield generators deployed but not on, and their main turrets in the deployed state.

Shields are redeployed and weaponries in the process of being armed. This only takes a moment. Signal export of the cruiser decreases significantly as an effort to avoid hostile detection. Small minor defense drones are released and patrol around the vessel, and another layer around the formation, also releasing next to no signal export. Energy is slightly transferred from stability thrusters to radar to aid in detection of unknown vessels within the area.

"We will create a rift for you to follow us through warp, please stand by."
The four vessels emit blue lighting into space as a large tear in the fabric of reality opens up.

The protection vessels reenter the Exploration ship and power taken from the signal blockage systems is put into the Outer Shields. Purple lightning flashes around the ship as power distributes to areas preparing for alien Warp Travel.
"On your lead, Pan-Galactic Republic."

The four PGR ships are engulfed in subspace discharges as they catapult into the rift at impossible speeds.

Within a few minutes of entering subspace, the PGR ships exit through another rift in reality inside of a debris field.
