Looking up into the night sky you can see the constellations shining bright white and piercing through the fabric of nothing, fabled warriors and peacekeepers and kings and gods resting below their sheet of darkness. Every few minutes one of the more massive orbiters can be seen flying overhead, massive structures of white and purple with flashing lights in all directions. Below the night sky the yellow grass barely visible under the starlight waves in the wind, every so often releasing helicopter-like flower buds into the distance. The yellow fields fade white at the base of the Great Mountain Ranges of the east, hiding the now inevitable rising dawn.
A shaft of blue light peaks through one of the breaks in the range and floods the land, exposing the true golden colour of the grass. The blue shaft expands forward until another shaft reveals itself, followed by another, and yet another. Finally the sun peaks through the top of the tallest mountain, a large bright blue orb overlooking and laying judgment upon everything in sight. It raises above the mountain slowly engulfing the entire field in it's light. Startled orange birds take flight from the silver trees to the right and almost bring back the night, covering the skies in massive flocks before disappearing in the distance.
It is dawn on Qaenrough, one of the most famous in the UPRQ.
Star
Qaenrough's star, known as Kygyz, is a B class, blue-white, with a mass of about 16. Qaenrough lies about 64 AUs from Kygyz, with a 496 Earth-day long year. (This calculation was achieved by using the formulas by the Star size to figure out the planet's preferred distance, and the planet's mass by distance to figure out it's orbit time.)
Major Landmasses
Qaenrough has five main continents, one of which too far north to bare the normal yellow grass of the planet. These continents names are Qaena, Laena, Wna, Slna, and Tsana.Qaena and Laena are on the eastern hemisphere, Wna and Tsana are on the western, and Slna is within the arctic circle. Qaena has two archipelagos branching off, one in the north connecting it to Slna, and one to the southwest connecting it to Laena. Wna and Tsana are virtually as far away from Qaena and Laena as possible, and pretty much isolated from the rest of the planet. Sand bars litter the shore all around, giving early theorists the notion that Wna and Tsana were the result of some massive meteoroid impact in the planet's early history. This of course is nonsense.
Slna is too far into the arctic circle for the grass to maintain it's natural colour, though it is present on the continent as white. A bit farther north the landmass is covered in ice increasingly getting thicker and thicker the farther and farther you go. The entire continent serves as a massive satellite broadcasting to the calamity system, and by extension, the entire United People's Republics of Qaenrough.
Minor Landmasses
There are but two subcontinents on Qaenrough, and both are connected to each other. Their names are Jl and Vl, which connect with each other on the very southern pole of the planet. However from space they are not visible because the ice sheet extends well beyond their boundary.
Water
Qaenrough being dominated by mammals has the universe's most common compound as it's seed of life: Water. The water is clear though shows red from the sky.
Atmosphere
The atmosphere of Qaenrough contains similar to our Earth's atmosphere, though the sky is red. The red colour of the sky is caused by the blue sun, whose light is bent by the atmosphere leaving the blue to pierce through and the red to blanket the sky.
