The starship thunders out of a rift into subspace, already flying towards the hangar bays of the Rainboom.
The Rainboom hails them.
"Welcome back, the mission?"

The shuttle-sized vessel slides into one of the four hangar bays and magnetizes to the deck.

She clutches the Qaen logo on her shoulder and electrifies her arm to melt it off.

Vaddium gets up from the pilot's seat and activates the ship's loading ramp.
"Good to be back."

Vaddium heads towards a door and walks through, entering the halls of the Rainboom.
"We are heading to the supersoldier barracks aboard the Rainboom."

She follows in, giggling a little.
"Yeah, alright."

Vaddium enters the barracks, instantly flanked by two robotic arms hanging from gantry on the ceiling.
The arms remove his pauldrons, then his arm armor, his helmet folds up and slides into his right forearm plating.
His armor deactivates, locking him in position as the floor rotates and his backpack is removed and stowed.
Within 20 seconds Vaddium's power armor is stored away and he is free to move again.
"We are still organic under all that armor."

She tears a little bit and pokes his chest.
"How many hearts ya got, by the way?"
She turns around quickly.
"No! I require food. Something simple, like Korii tomatoes."

"We have two hearts, by the way."
Vaddium walks to a bunk on the wall and sits on the lower bed.
"Welcome to my office."
He removes a small chip from his neurocouple and inserts it into a holoprojection pedestal.
The pedestal comes to life and the image of a cloud with lightning is visible above it.
"Hello Jorkaavir."
"GREETINGS VANGUARD PRIMA VADDIUM. YOU SEEM TO HAVE COMPANY."

She points at the pedestal and looks upset.
"No no it used to be a company, now it's just za soldier. Or soldier. Or-"
She gasps, and her mood is now sad
"What happened to your face...?"
