OOC Thread
The Jepur Array screams to life, broadcasting a wide band message across intergalactic voids. "This is the Pan-Galactic Republic..what's left of it anyway. We are requesting the aid of any species that receives this message, our numbers are few." The message includes a data packet containing a coordinate string. The message repeats.

In the Calamity system the foreign transmission is reached and relayed to the Federal District. The response is calibrated that although the UPR Qaenrough has already had action in the conflict they will up the support by sending a steady stream of ships.
At the predestined coordinates a bright white ring opens up as a large flagship emerges from intergalactic warp, followed by five battleships, twenty escorts, and three carriers. The admiral looks out into the space surrounding and sniffs.
"So this is Prime Space? Looks exactly like Dux Space, only... menacing."

The UPRQ's ships are greeted by the sad sight of the remnant PGR fleet, a measly 50 vessels, only 30 of which are original navy vessels.
In the center of the fleet the derelict hull of the Sonic Rainboom is visible, turned into a sort of base of operations for the PGR resistance.

A small ship separates from an escort ship's outer shell and goes to the Rainboom to pick up a Qaen captain who was caught up in the combat. On the side of the flagship, roughly half the size of the Sonic Rainboom, bears massive Qaenshta characters reading "Intro Darkness, From Darkness, Against Darkness." For short they just call it Yenchta. The Yenchta hails the Sonic Rainboom.
"Your reputation proceeds you, Pan-Galactic Republic. No matter in what state."

A pulsating purple star is visible some tens of AU in the distance, it's surface being ejected along magnetic field lines violently.
"We must inform you that a perimeter of 20 AU is required around the star if you want to keep any iron you may have."

"The vast majority of Qaen iron goes into QUALIA's maintenance anyway. People don't realise how expensive it is to hook up a person to a galaxy."

The star's magnetic field is strong enough to pull in even a single molecule of iron at 20 AU."
A large amount of plasma can be seen erupting from the star's surface.
A small PGR ship thrusts towards the UPRQ ships and begins scanning them.

"I... don't know all the statistics. I'm sure we don't have iron aboard, but-"
\"As of the Unification all military units have been void of iron to avoid future super nova extensive damage"\
"We do not have iron apparently."

"Anything magnetic is a very bad idea."
The scanning ship retreats back to the Rainboom.
"Your representative sent last year still lives by the way, we can transfer them to you if need be."

There's a silence as the admiral contacts the Federal District.
"He can stay. We need someone to research PGR militaristic and civilian tech."

"Are you planning on a fleet level, a ship level, or infiltration by individuals?"
