Dovese Naval Classifications [Ships]

Police Craft:
    Any craft for space, atmosphere, ocean, or planetary surface owned by the State but not the military.

Patrol Ship:
    Primarily used for search-and-rescue, police actions, basically a coast guard. Not very impressive, but they can kill a civilian or lightly armed target.

Battleship:
    A heavily armoured and gunned ship, not carrying missiles, used as mid or back line ships.

Carriers:
    A ship of which houses other smaller fighters, Patrol ships, capable of releasing in space or atmosphere.

Frigate:
    Heavily armoured ships carrying a moderate amount of weaponry, projectile. Most Dovese models' bows are shaped as a blade which the ship uses ram tactics. Much like kamikaze, just minus the definite death.

Destroyers:
    Faster and less armoured ships, heavily with missiles, projectile weaponry, and Dovese models using laser weaponry as well. Heavy shielding technology combined with a very slight warp rupture system scavenged in The Dead Zone.

Cruisers:
    Specialising in n nuclear and antimatter missiles, cruisers are rather expensive though numerous within the Dovese empire.
