The Paladin takes the quickest possible route through the ship to Main Engineering, cutting down Kardon as he travels.

The captain speeds up slightly and tries to go ahead of the paladin.
\"Qaen knowledge of this ship is minimal since the loss of the Lwtaqra. You however seem to know your way around."\

The Paladin arrives at the door to Main Engineering, finding it welded shut.
"Step aside, I will negotiate for entrance."
The Paladin kicks the door, denting the tritanium and sending it crashing down.
"They have agreed to let us in."

The captain walks forward into Main Engineering with rod ready, though not moving his head around.

The Paladin walks into Main Engineering and performs a quick survey of the area, checking for any sabotage.
"That's different."

The captain continues looking around places that could possibly hold a hiding humanoid.

Five warriors jump down from the ceiling and surround the UPRQ captain. They rev their chainblades and snarl at him.
"Do put up a fight!"

The captain starts spinning the rod. He ducks and spins, attempting to swipe the feet of the Kardon.

The captain maintains a fast spinning motion of the electrified rod. After swiping he makes a stance and waits for the Kardon to attack.

One of the warriors swings his chainblade near the captain's face as another thrusts at him from behind.
"I wonder how much it would take to sssstab though that armor of yourssss!"

The captain ducks, thrusting his rod toward the back one.

The Kardon warriors all laugh.
"It thinks it's funny! TEAR IT'S FLESH APART!"
All the warriors attack at once.

He begins to spin the rod fast enough that the electrical discharges start to form brief circles. The captain tries to maneuver through them striking multiple at a time, aiming for the neck and head.
QUALIA starts playing simulations of predicted Kardon screams as she fights.
