The admiral turns around though still on hail.
"Which of you servants to the Overlord would like to go on a probably suicidal mission onto a fallen central world of a vast and ancient empire?"
The room is silent for a brief moment before the entire room raises their hands.
"Shl.... Fine. Private Jyanl and First Class Xrgh, front and centre."
They do so and the admiral turns back to the screen.
"I found your two men. Both trained extensively in combat and how to not piss off aliens."

A small gunship speeds towards the UPRQ's ships.
"We'll brief them on the Rainboom."

The call ends. The march down toward the ship's foreign input hanger and stand at attention waiting.

The gunship flies into the hangar, it's engines screaming. it lands and the loading ramp folds out, the pilots not even bothering to spool down the engines.
A 12 foot tall supersoldier clad in pitch black armor stands in the gunship.
"Enter the vehicle."

The peacekeepers enter the vehicle taking notice of the contrast between their white flashy uniforms and the Republican dark uniforms.

The supersoldier glances at the peacekeepers and begins to speak with the common deep mechanical voice of supersoldiers.
"I am Vanguard Prima Vaddium, I will be taking part in this mission."
One of his three servo arms moves and a flamethrower the size of one of the peacekeepers is visible attached to it.
Upon closer inspection, his armor is matte black with a hexagonal pattern, and blood red between the armor paneling. four symbols are visible on his armor, a rank, the symbol of the Vanguard Galactica, and on one side of his breastplate a black crosshair over a red skull in a white circle, on the opposite side of the breastplate a very contrasting bright blue circle with a cloud and scientifically inaccurate rainbow lightning bolt in it.

Xrgh is slightly taller than Jyanl. They stand by the wall of the cabin and look around once more. Jyanl looks down, up, then speaks up.
"I can see why Furnazi culture is popular amongst the children."

He activates a floating holographic display showing his number of confirmed kills "9,240,883."

He nods.
"I meant the more Gothic ones."
He checks his kill record and puts it away without showing the rest. Xrgh has is eyes closed and is moving still.

"Probably not, though it's possible indirectly though communication line sapping. Compared to what the Science Districts are whipping up Xrgh and I are ants. We were ants anyway, but still. Smaller ants."

Vaddium's eye slits pulsate bright crimson.
"Any being foolish enough to get between a Vanguard and it's objective is sent to it's maker without pause..."
"We do not leave survivors."

He sit in silence, wondering if he will be of use on the mission before Xrgh wakes up. She asks the Vanguard,
"So what are our checkpoints? Orbiters and then the planet and then objective, planet and then objective, or are we aiming straight for the objective?"

"Based on what most space baring civilisations their leader wouldn't leave the homeworld. But seeing the barbarian-like tactics they have expressed in their wartime, it would be most likely he is on the planet, in fact in the capitol building exploring their new riches."
